An exciting challenge is in the air at Osogbo Grammar School. Students are vying for cash prizes to be disbursed for the best creators of models such as cars and buildings. This exciting opportunity was made possible by a non-governmental organization named 234 Project. The NGO is creating a culture of resilience, creativity, and excellence that will benefit the next generation and create a brighter future for all in Nigeria.
Selection
234 Project awarded the program to Osograms during the 2024 Reunion of OGSOSANA in Houston, Texas. One of its founders, Mr. Akin Akinboro, was a guest speaker at the event, at which his organization donated the competition to Osograms
National
The event has gone national, with participation from schools across the various political zones of Nigeria. Osograms joins the list of privileged schools giving students the opportunity to show off their creative abilities
How the competion works
These are the details of how the program will be implemented.
First Stage Presentation/Event-March 2025
Selection: 10 teams. Each team consists of 5 students
Rewards: 100 234 branded notebooks to 50 students
Second Stage Presentation-April 2025
Selection-5 teams.
Rewards: 25 Branded Tshirts and seed funds of 20K for each team
Third Stage-May 2025
Selection-3 teams
Rewards:
Cash gifts for students (N100,000, N75,000 and N50,000)
Cash gifts for teachers (N50,000, N30,000, N20,000)
