Details About OGSOSANA University Scholarship

Application

Prospective applicants must apply within specified time in their final year at Osogbo Grammar Shool, specifically during final year in SS3. For 2026, the application ended on January 31st.

A committee will review submitted applications in consultation with school administation, then shortlist those who move to the next stage.

Selection and Notification

Between February and August, applicants will go through stages of evaluation. Students who scale through each step of the evaluation will be informed while those who don’t will also know they did not make it into the next stage.. The scholarship is only granted for public university admission.

Application

To qualify for university scholarship provided by OGSOSANA, you must be in good academic standing throughout you final year at Osograms. Demonstrating academic excellence through strong grades is a key factor. And you must submit an application.

Review

After applications are submitted, the next stage is the review of applications.

OGSOSANA-appointed review committee will review all applications during this period and decide those who will be shortlisted for consideration.

Selection

After the shortlisting is done, there will be interviews and checks on each successful applicant.

A final decision will then be made about the worthy winners of the scholarship.

Notification

After the winners have been selected, they will be required to submit their evidence for qualification, including letters of admission and results of their final examinations.

Those who have met all requirements are are ready to go to a university will then be notified about their successful applications.

The notification is the final stage of the process and anyone who gets this notification will be informed about how payments will be made through their university education.
