To recruit, unite and encourage alumni across North America to form lifelong relationships and actively support Osogbo Grammar School by enhancing resources, fostering educational excellence, and creating opportunities that propel OGS to become the leading public high school in Nigeria.
We are committed to uniting our dispersed alumni community through meaningful engagement, professional networking, and collaborative support. We strive to:-
Osogbo Grammar School Old Students Association North America (OGSOSANA) was formalized in 2008. The first president of the assocation (then Chairman), who is one of the founders, is Deacon Michael Akinboro. The association was formed with the goal of connecting all Osogrammarians in the United States and Canada. The founding structure laid by the group of founders is bearing fruit as OGSOSANA is having an impact among members but more importantly at Osograms, where projects are benefiting the alma mater and students.
The presidency of Pastor Ajiboye Adeleke saw significant membership growth and commitment to development at the school. His leadership has been followed by that of Dr. Moyo Okuyiga, in which a newer generation of members are being developed. OGSOSANA has been growing in leaps and bounds since holding it’s first reuinion in 2010. The most recent reunions in Raleigh, Chicago and Houston have not only showcased our coming of age, but have been connecting Nigerians in North America.
Reunions have become the defining point of OGSOSANA activities in recent years. By staging culturally-impactful meetings in major cities all across America, the association is not only unifying members but is introducing itself to the Nigerian and North American communities while getting help to develop Osograms.
The growth and vibrancy of OGSOSANA can be attributed to its past and present leaders. The association has been blessed with depply committed leaders with different perspectives but an unwavering devoting to service and impact.
