Projects We Completed

We renovated a four-classroom building that was completely delapidated, provided furniture and provided landscaping to beautify the school premises.

Past Projects

Scholarships

As part of our program for creating opportunities for studnets, we give cash grants to needy students to take WAEC examinations on our tab. Each year, we pay for the registration of 60 or more students for the WASC examination. We are widening our scope to student development through direct intervention in teaching, health and personal hygiene – factors that affect learning outcomes.

Infrastructure

Although there is a new large building on the school premises, many of the blocks erected through the school’s humble history are dilapidated. We have focused the past few years on infrastructural development at the school by renovating old buildings and beautifying them. Our infrastructure projects not only preserve our rich heritage but also ensure there is a conducive environment for learning.

Financial Support

OGSOSANA gives to various causes related to Osogbo Grammar School. From school celebrations to support for alumni members or to the community, OGSOSANA does not take the backseat in supporting activities that build community or promote the glory of our alma mater.

Buiding Renovation

OGS renovation

“The issue of failing infrastructure is the kind of issue that besets most schools in Nigeria today. Schools that could veritably compete in facilities with public schools in the USA when we were students are now dilapidated images of what they used to be. The state and federal governments have washed their hands of taking care of these schools. Therefore, more is now being left for the old students to fill in. This is a responsibility we cannot shy away from.” OGSOSANA President, Dr. Moyo Okuyiga

We renovated a block of four classrooms and provided furniture and landscaping amenities in 2023, as one of our efforts to rehabiliate infrastructure and beautify the school campus.
